One Way of Cutting the Risk of Breast Cancer

60,000 women, between the ages of 50-80 were closely studied for over 10 years. 3000 women developed invasive breast cancer during that study presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium December 5-9, 2017.

Scientists found that a 5% or greater weight loss after menopause could lower the risk of breast cancer by about 12%.

They also found that when women lost even more weight — 15% or more of their body weight — the risk of breast cancer went down 37%.

You decide.
